Honda Siel Cars Grew by 343 Percent in May 2012
The Indian subsidiary Honda Siel Cars India Ltd (HSCI) of leading car maker Honda from Japan is one of the biggest manufactures of premium cars in our country. The recent sales reports suggest that the company, in the month of May 2012 has recorded a massive growth of 343 percent shooting the sales figures from 2,334 units in May 2011 to 10,334 units. According to the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Honda India, Mr. Jnaneshwar Sen who is excessively elated with the success in the growth of the company, the hatchback Honda Brio and Honda City are the two models making the proud by pulling in most of the volumes.

He also mentioned that the Honda cars undoubtedly offer great value for money and are very much preferred, which can be easily be seen by the kind of response the cars have received in the Indian car market. HSCI is confident about its positive growth in the current fiscal year, he added. Topping and rocking the sales charts is the hatchback Honda Brio with a total sale of 4512 units. Following the suit is the flagship sedan Honda City with a sale of 3753 units. The Honda Jazz hatchback became the third best selling model of the brand with the sale of 1948 units. The premium and luxurious sedans Honda Civic and Honda Accord sold 62 and 38 units respectively. The only SUV Honda CR-V bagged a sale of 21 units.
