Here Are All Cars Launched In India In July 2025

The month of July 2025 brought a flurry of new car launches and updates that kept enthusiasts engaged throughout. It began with facelifts like the Renault Triber and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, both receiving notable design and feature enhancements. The spotlight then shifted to electric mobility, with models like the Kia Carens Clavis EV and MG’s premium EVs expanding choices in the growing EV space. Adding to the excitement was the long-awaited debut of an American electric carmaker giant in India. Let us now take a look at everything that launched and debuted in July 2025.

Renault Triber Facelift

Price: 6.30 lakh to Rs 9.40 lakh

After being on sale since 2019 in India, Renault introduced a mid-cycle update of the Triber on July 23, 2025. The facelift brings in some necessary exterior updates including auto LED headlights, LED fog lamps and LED tail lights connected by a gloss black strip. The alloy wheel design has been changed too, although it is still steel wheels with stylised covers. Not just the exterior, but the interior was also updated with a new layered dashboard design featuring a faux wooden trim at the centre, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a semi-digital driver’s display and a 3-spoke steering wheel with updated Renault logo. It also gets some new features like  cruise control, rain sensing wipers, front parking sensors as well as 6 standard airbags. It continues with the same 72 PS 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.

Kia Carens Clavis EV

Price: Rs 17.99 lakh to Rs 24.49 lakh

Kia launched its first made-in-India EV in India in the form of the Carens Clavis EV, which also is the Korean marque’s most affordable electric offering in the country. It borrows a lot of elements from its ICE-powered sibling including the all-LED lights, blanked-off grille and connected LED tail lights. However, it sweetens the suite by offering new LED fog lamps and active air flaps. It also gets redesigned 17-inch alloys with aero inserts and a charging flap on the grille. Inside. It gets the same dashboard layout as the Carens Clavis, but sports a white and grey theme like the lower variants of the ICE model. It is available with two battery pack options: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, with a claimed range of up to 490 km. 

Tesla Model Y

Price: Rs 59.89 lakh to 73.89 lakh

The American electric carmaker giant, Tesla, debuted on July 15, 2025 in India with the Model Y. It gets a clean exterior design with connected LED DRLs, sleek LED headlights and connected LED tail lights. The cabin follows a minimalist layout with a 15.4-inch touchscreen, all-black theme as standard, and a dual-tone option at extra cost. Key features include ventilated and heated front seats, powered rear recline, ambient lighting, a 9-speaker sound system, a powered frunk and an 8-inch rear screen. Safety is handled by multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, a built-in dashcam and an optional ADAS suite. The Model Y is available in two RWD variants with up to 622 km claimed range and a top speed of 201 kmph.

MG Cyberster

Price: Rs 75 lakh

The MG Cyberster EV is one of the two models to be sold via MG Select outlets. It gets a futuristic design with sharp petal-shaped LED projector headlights, arrow-shaped tail lights and an inverted U-shaped LED bar. The cabin features a fighter jet-inspired layout with a tri-screen setup, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a sporty 2-seater layout. Key features include an electrically foldable soft top roof, powered and heated front seats with memory, and an 8-speaker Bose sound system. Safety is handled by 4 airbags, ESC, TPMS and Level-2 ADAS suite. It uses a 77 kWh battery and dual motors to produce 510 PS and 725 Nm, with a claimed range of 580 km and 0-100 kmph time of just 3.2 seconds.

MG M9

Price: Rs 69.90 lakh

Along with the Cyberster, another product that will be retailed through the MG Select channel is the MG M9 premium electric MPV. It features a minimalist exterior with connected LED DRLs, split LED headlights, sliding doors, 19-inch alloy wheels and connected LED tail lights. The interior uses a tan and black theme with soft-touch materials, dual digital displays, and three rows of seats with powered Ottoman seats in the middle row. Features include dual sunroofs, multiple wireless phone chargers, ambient lighting, a powered tailgate and front and middle row seats with massage, ventilation and heating. On the safety front, it gets 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, digital IRVM and Level-2 ADAS with forward collision warning and high beam assist. It gets a 90 kWh battery pack mated with a front axle-mounted electric motor that produces 245 PS and 350 Nm, with a claimed range of 548 km.

Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Variants

Price: Rs 8.94 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh

Alongside the existing lineup, Mahindra has introduced three new mid-spec variants of the XUV 3XO, called REVX M, REVX M (O) and REVX A. The REVX M and REVX M (O) are powered by a 112 PS turbo-petrol engine and feature LED lighting, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 6 airbags and black leatherette upholstery, with the M (O) adding a single-pane sunroof while lowering its entry price by Rs 10,000. The REVX A trim gets the more powerful 130 PS TGDi turbo-petrol engine with both manual and automatic options. It offers dual 10.25-inch displays, wireless charging, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof and dual-zone climate control. Mahindra has made both the sunroof and 130 PS engine more affordable in the 3XO range by up to Rs 37,000.

Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e Pack Two 75 kWh battery options

BE 6 Pack Two 75 kWh Price: Rs 23.50 lakh

XEV 9e Pack Two 75 kWh Price: Rs 26.50 lakh

In July 2025, Mahindra made the bigger 79 kWh battery pack available with the mid-spec Pack Two variants of both the XEV 9e and BE 6. Priced at Rs 1.6 lakh more than the 59 kWh option, it brings the starting prices of these variants to Rs 26.50 lakh for the XEV 9e and Rs 23.50 lakh for the BE 6 (ex-showroom). This move makes the larger battery more accessible by Rs 4 lakh in the XEV 9e and Rs 3.4 lakh in the BE 6 compared to the Pack Three trims. The feature suite remains unchanged.

Hyundai Aura S AMT

Price: Rs 8.08 lakh

In July 2025, Hyundai introduced a new S AMT variant of the Aura subcompact sedan, making the AMT option more accessible by Rs 87,000 compared to the earlier-only SX Plus AMT. With this update, the Aura now offers its 5-speed AMT in both the S and SX Plus variants, paired with the 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 83 PS and 114 Nm. The feature suite in the S AMT mirrors the S manual, including manual AC with rear vents, analogue dials with MID, keyless entry, footwell lighting and rear centre armrest. Safety remains strong with six airbags, ESC, hill start assist, TPMS, and ISOFIX mounts.

Jeep Compass & Meridian Trail Editions

Compass Trail Edition Price: Rs 25.41 lakh to Rs 27.41 lakh

Meridian Trail Edition Price: Rs 31.27 lakh to Rs 37.27 lakh

Jeep gave the Compass and Meridian a minor cosmetic update with the new Trail Editions. Based on the Longitude (O) and Limited (O) variants, they get signature decals, grey and black exterior elements, red cabin accents, and all-weather floor mats. The powertrain remains unchanged with a 2-litre diesel engine, FWD as standard, and AWD exclusive to the Meridian. Feature highlights include a panoramic sunroof, 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless charger and 6 or 9-speaker sound systems depending on the model. Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic parking brake with auto hold, hill start assist and TPMS.

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Facelift

Price: Rs 46.90 lakh to Rs 48.90 lakh

BMW launched the facelifted 2 Series Gran Coupe in July 2025 as its most affordable sedan offering in the country, offering it in M Sport and M Sport Pro variants. Unlike the outgoing model, it now comes only with a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 156 PS and 230 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The exterior sports an illuminated kidney grille, frameless doors, 18-inch alloys and wraparound LED tail-lamps, while four colour options are offered. Inside, the cabin features a curved dual-screen layout with a 10.7-inch touchscreen and a 10.24-inch digital driver’s display, complemented by ambient lighting and dual-zone climate control. It also gets a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, wireless phone charger, digital key and interior camera. Safety kit includes multiple airbags, ESC, TPMS, a dashcam and ADAS. 

Range Rover Velar Autobiography

Price: Rs 89.90 lakh

Land Rover introduced a new top-spec Autobiography variant of the Range Rover Velar priced at Rs 89.90 lakh. It is the only variant offered with both petrol and diesel engines, producing 250 PS and 204 PS respectively. Both engines are paired with mild-hybrid tech and an 8-speed automatic gearbox with all-wheel drive. On the outside, it gets subtle copper accents and larger 20-inch alloy wheels. The cabin is upgraded with an extended Windsor leather pack, suede headliner, and a Meridian surround sound system. It also features powered, ventilated, massaging front seats and electrically adjustable rear seats.
