The 2020 festive season is on and that means savings on multiple offerings from various brands including Kia. However, Kia is offering benefits only on its premium MPV, the Carnival, leaving out the Seltos and the recently launched Sonet. Here’s the breakup of the offers valid until October 31:

As part of the offers, the base-spec Premium and mid-spec Prestige variants get the rear seat entertainment package that’s otherwise offered only on the top-spec Limousine variant. The top-specced Carnival comes with only the maintenance package and exchange bonus, thereby offering total savings of up to Rs 1.28 lakh.

Kia offers the India-spec Carnival with a single powertrain option: a 2.2-litre diesel engine rated at 200PS and 440Nm. It comes coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Although it doesn’t have any direct competitors, it sits above the Toyota Innova Crysta and below the Toyota Vellfire and Mercedes-Benz V-Class. Kia has revealed the fourth-gen Carnival and is expected to launch it in India in 2022.
