China auto giants to enter Indian auto market
The growing Indian auto market has lured the auto makers from US or Europe but now it is being known that Chinese auto mobiles firms are also keen in investing in India. Chinese auto mobile market is currently enjoying numero uno status globally, many chinese auto companies are trying to spread its wings across the globe. These are Brilliance Auto, Jianghuai Automobile Company (JAC), Build Your Dreams (BYD), Beiqi Foton and Chery International are looking forward for establishing itself in India.
As per the experts of the auto industry Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) is entering India and various other firms are looking for the right opportunity. The auto companies have the right products, which are strategically fit for the Indian standards and conditions. The first auto company from China to enter India will be SAIC with General Motors in a partnership agreement. Chery International biggest exporter of passenger cars in China, is working out to strike a deal in India. Brilliance Auto makers of the passenger cars, cargo vans and mini buses is also looking forward to invest.
As per the rumours doing the rounds, Beiqi Foton, China’s biggest commercial vehicle producer is looking forward to setting up a new unit in India and it is being known that the company has already studied the domestic auto market for that. The company has already held talks with various component makers to make available the supplier base for production of the vehicles locally. However, a concrete decision is still pending from the auto giant side.
