Renault Kwid is currently the talk of the town. The recently revealed details might raise interest of the masses further. According to a report, Renault Kwid Specifications have been revealed. The car is expected to be launched very soon, in a few weeks of time. Renault Kwid has ainclude a three-cylinder 0.8-liter petrol engine. The report claim that this powertrain will produce 54 bhp and 74 Nm of torque and will come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Later, the automatic transmission is also expected to make it’s debut in the hatchback, paired with a comparatively powerful 1.0-liter engine.

The reports also suggest that the Kwid will return fuel efficiency of 25.17 km/l (ARAI), which overshadows its competitors Datsun Go, Hyundai Eon and Maruti Alto 800. This fuel-efficiency transcends its class and is capable of going toe-to-toe with the likes of Maruti Swift Dzire and Ford Figo Aspire diesel variants. This revelation stands true to the class-leading fuel efficiency claims made by Renault during the unveiling in Chennai, which took place in May.

The car will also come with a first-in-class touchscreen infotainment system and an all digital instrument cluster. Also, it is expected to come with class-leading boot space. Further, Renault has also managed to use the cladding for this particular car in a very quirky, yet appealing manner. The SUV styling and muscular design help the car stand out and distinguish itself in its class. Renault Kwid's price is expected to be in the vicinity of 2.5-4.5 lac.
