The 2025 Kia Carens Clavis has been revealed and its prices are set to be announced on May 23. Pre-launch bookings for the refreshed MPV are set to commence on May 9. 2025 Kia Carens Clavis: Colour Options Detailed 

The Kia Clavis is offered in 8 monotone colours. There are no dual-tone hues on offer.

2025 Kia Carens Clavis: Overview 

The Kia Carens Clavis is basically a heavily refreshed version of the Carens with a premium design and a thoroughly updated dashboard. It also packs in plenty of premium features. The Kia Carens Clavis will co-exist alongside the Carens MPV. 

Up front, the Clavis gets a blanked off grille and new triangular LED headlights with angular DRLs. The bumper has a rugged look, courtesy of the chunky cladding and a faux silver skid plate. Even though the silhouette design is identical to the Carens, the Clavis gets larger 17-inch alloy wheels that look upmarket. A new set of tail lamps connected by a light bar and a revised rear bumper round off the overall look. 

Inside, the Kia Carens Clavis gets a brand new layered dashboard that looks upmarket. Some elements have been lifted off from the Syros such as the dual 12.3-inch displays and a two-spoke steering wheel. Like the Carens, you can buy it either as a 7-seater with bench seats or a 6-seater with captain seats for middle row occupants. 

2025 Kia Carens Clavis: Features Onboard 

New features onboard the Kia Clavis include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake with auto hold and level-2 advanced driver’s assistance systems (ADAS).

Kia has retained features such as ventilated front seats, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, wireless phone charger and 64-colour ambient lighting. In addition to ADAS, the Carens Clavis’s safety suite includes six airbags (as standard), ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC) and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). 

2025 Kia Carens Clavis: Powertrain Options 

Things remain familiar underneath the hood as the Kia Carens Clavis gets the same engine options as the Carens. The notable update here is that the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine gets an additional 6-speed manual transmission.

2025 Kia Carens Clavis: Expected Price And Rivals 

The Kia Carens Clavis is expected to be priced from Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be a premium alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki XL6 and Toyota Rumion. That said, it is still expected to be more affordable than the Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Innova Hycross and Maruti Invicto.
