Mercedes Benz is a quit popular brand name in India and company is enjoying no.1 status for quite a while. On the other hand BMW entered in Indian market just two years ago and in these two years company surpassed many luxury car makers even Mercedes Benz to achieve number one position in Indian market. Company is optimistic That this trend will remain continue in the whole 2009.

According to BMW president Peter Kronschnabl, “This year may not follow the same growth pattern as 2008, but we are bullish about the luxury car segment.
