Audi to sell its products in big markets
Audi, Germany luxury car maker, is planning to increase the sale of its products in big markets like New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, Frankfurt and Berlin. To achieve this the company has framed a new strategy. Rupert Stadler, Chairman of Audi's Management Board, told reporters that auto companies which had been prepared for the economic downturn and had invested in new technology and innovation at the right time were today in a much stronger position than competitors who had ignored these aspects. He added that Audi's sales in India in 2008 increased by 200 per cent. He informed that at present the company not going to start full-fledged manufacturing in India but this would happen as and when need to.
