Audi R8 V8 Spyder, RS 6 Avant and RS 5 Avant going to Salon Prive 2013
German luxury carmaker, Audi is all set to showcase the R8 V8 Spyder, RS 6 Avant and RS 4 Avant at Salon Prive 2013. Deriving its power from a high-revving V8 engine mounted behind the passenger compartment, the Audi R8 V8 Spyder touches the 0-100kmph mark in mere 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 300kmph. The mid-engine configuration of the R8 V8 Spyder, helps the car low the centre of gravity for great road holding.
As mentioned above Salon Prive will also aspect the display of the Audi RS 6 Avant. This super avant can be easily recognised as an intimidating addition to the RS family. Housing a 4.0-litre V8 TFSI biturbo engine, it churns out the maximum power output of 552bhp. While the 0-100kmph time is just 3.9 seconds. Also with the Dynamic Package Plus the super Avant is capable of touching over 300kmph.
Also on the display will be the RS 4 Avant, a high-performance compact executive class estable, which touches 0-100kmph in just 4.7 seconds and up to 280kmph. Its naturally-aspirated V8 engine channels 450 PS to its sophisticated quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system, which delivers tenacious handling in all conditions.
