Audi opens the largest luxury car showroom in Gujarat
Audi announced the opening of the Gujarat’s largest luxury car showroom in Ahmedabad on Sola road. The brand with the four rings has continued its association with the existing dealer partner in Ahmedabad by moving to a larger facility in the city. The entire Audi India model range will be available for sale in this new showroom in Ahmedabad. This world-class showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India and Mr. Samir Mistry, Managing Director, Audi Ahmedabad, (Nixynova Motoren Pvt. Ltd).

Spread over a total area of 22,354 sq. ft. Audi Ahmedabad showroom, built on the unique Audi Terminal architecture has a honeycomb aluminum facade on the exterior. With a display area that can accommodate 12 Audi cars, the showroom will display the entire model range of Audi cars available in India. Audi Ahmedabad will also house an Audi Shop and the Audi Exclusive elements where customers can order customized products and purchase a variety of Audi branded merchandise. The showroom is located on Sola Road. “The launch of this larger facility built on the Audi terminal architecture will allow us to capitalize on the fast growing demand for luxury automobiles in the region. We are delighted to continue our association with Nixynova Motoren. Audi Ahmedabad has always added to the strength of Audi India and I am confident that under Mr. Samir Mistry, we will maintain to do so in the future as well.” said Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India.
Audi Ahmedabad also runs the exclusive Audi service facility, located near Uttam Dana Factory, beside Sanathal Bridge, Sarkhej, Ahmedabad. This facility is spread over an area of 18,880 sq ft. and has a capacity to service 24 cars per day in a single shift on a total of 12 bays. The technicians at the facility are trained to ensure that world-class services are offered to the customers. Audi India continues its success story. The luxury carmaker registered a total sale of 850 units in October this year, a strong growth of 76 percent over the same period last year (October 2011: 482 units). The brand with the four rings recorded a 55 percent growth rate YTD with 7267 vehicles sold from January to October 2012. (Jan-October 2011: 4692 units).
Being born and brought up in a family that has been a part of the Automotive industry for over seven decades, Rachit has cars in his blood. Four wheelers are his childhood love, and he has grown up playing with bolts and spanners. To add more value to this passion, he studied automobile engineering and even karted at National level competitions.
