Audi India to foray into used car business

Audi is one the most prominent and famous luxury car makers around the globe. In India, this German car manufacturer is counted amongst the most lavish car makers in the business. And now Audi India is all geared to commence the business of used cars in India by the end of 2011. This used car business is expected to further boost up Audi car sales by 20% or so in near future.

Audi India has plans for expansion and it is aiming to hire around 600 more employees to its firm in period of next 2 years. Audi currently has 13 dealers in India and it is looking to amplify it to 25 by 2012. As far as the sales are concerned, Audi India is expecting to hit the mark of above 5000 units in 2011. So far in 2011, Audi has managed to sell 3,145 units, which were 1,626 units in 2010. Audi India aims to grab a 25% share in the Indian Luxury Car Market by the year 2015. Currently Audi India offers a wide range of products, which include in Audi A7 Sport Back, Audi A4, Audi A8, Audi A6, Audi A7, Audi Q7, Audi Q5 and Audi R8.
