7 Things The 2025 Renault Triber Facelift Gets Over Maruti Ertiga
The Triber is a much more affordable alternative to the Ertiga, but still gets a few extra convenience and safety essentials

The 2025 Renault Triber facelift has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), making it one of the most affordable 7-seater MPVs in the country. While it doesn’t have any direct rivals at this price, it’s often seen as a budget-friendly alternative to the popular Maruti Ertiga.
Despite its lower pricing, the updated Triber packs in several things that are not offered in the Ertiga. We’ve detailed them below:
LED Projector Headlamps
With the new update, the 2025 Triber now gets LED projector headlamps units replacing its previously offered halogen units. In comparison, the Maruti Ertiga still comes equipped with halogen projector headlamps.
8-Inch Touchscreen Infotainment
The Renault Triber facelift continues to get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, albeit an updated unit placed in a floating setup. The Ertiga gets a smaller 7-inch touchscreen. Do note that both the infotainment systems support wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
7-Inch Digital Driver’s Display
The Renault Triber gets a 7-inch digital driver’s display, whereas the Ertiga still uses a conventional analogue cluster with a coloured multi‑information display (MID).
Wireless Phone Charger
The Renault Triber facelift offers a wireless phone charger in its top-spec variant, which helps avoid the hassle of tangled charging cables while on the move. In contrast, the Maruti Ertiga still misses out on this useful feature.
Rain Sensing Wipers
The Renault Triber facelift now gets rain-sensing wipers – another feature that is absent in the Ertiga. While the Ertiga’s manually controllable wipers do the job, the automatic ones add a little more convenience.
Front Parking Sensors
Both the Triber and Ertiga come with rear parking sensors; however, the new Triber also gets front parking sensors in its top-spec Emotion variant. This small, thoughtful addition makes your life easy while parking or manoeuvring the 7-seater through tight spaces.
Removable Third Row Seats
The 2025 Triber allows full removal of third‑row seats to convert into 5‑ or 6‑seater modes and free up to 625 litres of boot space. On the other hand, the Ertiga offers only foldable third‑row seats, which cannot be completely detached.
