5 Things Renault Triber Facelift Misses Out, Which Could Have Made It More Appealing

The 2025 Renault Triber facelift has been launched at a price range between Rs 6.30 lakh and Rs 9.40 lakh (introductory ex-showroom, pan-India). This update has brought a lot many design changes and some feature additions to the Triber; however, we believe a few more thoughtful additions could have helped the car be more appealing to buyers. We have detailed the list below:
Alloy Wheels
The 2025 Triber facelift continues to come with 15-inch steel wheels, now fitted with dual-tone stylised covers that somewhat mimic the look of alloy wheels. While they do add some flair, actual alloy wheels, especially in the higher variants, could have elevated the MPV’s premium appeal and improved the overall design as well.
Larger Infotainment System
Albeit repositioned as a floating unit, the new Triber doesn’t see an upgrade in terms of screen size, with the same 8-inch touchscreen carried over from the old model. While it still offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a larger 9-inch or a 10.25-inch unit could have enhanced the in-cabin tech experience.
Sunroof
A sunroof is one of the most desirable features in India and offering it with the Triber could have enticed some more people into buying the Renault crossover MPV. Not only would it have appealed to the buyers, but it would have also brought in a sense of more airiness to the cabin.
Premium Audio System
The Renault Triber facelift comes with a basic 6-speaker sound system. Although it is a decent setup considering the sub-Rs 10 lakh budget, a premium audio system would have appealed to audiophiles and would have enhanced the in-cabin experience.
More Powerful Engine
Last but not least, we did expect Renault to equip the facelifted Triber with a more punchy turbo petrol engine option, preferably the 100 PS option offered with the Renault Kiger. This could have made the Triber more capable on ghats and uphill sections with occupants in all three rows.
