2015 Ford Figo to Launch Tomorrow
The second generation Figo will go on sale in the country from tomorrow, replacing the old car. The hatchback is most likely to be competitively priced just like the recently launched Figo Aspire compact sedan, or even for that the first-gen Figo was indeed aggressively priced in 2010! Speaking of its competitors, Maruti Suzuki Swift continues to remain as the arch rival while it will also pitch head2head with Hyundai Grand i10 and Tata Bolt.

Like the Aspire’s, expect cut-throat pricing for the second generation Figo as well!
Apart from the rear profile, Figo shares every single bit of it with the Aspire. Even the features will be common in both the cars, things like the Ford SYNC infotainment system, Ford MyKey, My Dock, etc. In terms of safety, we presume Figo will also feature dual front airbags as standard, just like the Aspire. Also the top-end Titanium+ will feature the segment first side and curtain airbags making it a total of six airbags.
In terms of engines, both the motors of the first-gen Figo will be replaced with the ones that debuted on the Aspire. Petrol trims will be powered by the new 1.2-liter TiVCT 4-cylinder motor while the diesel variants will be pulled by the uprated 1.5-liter TDCi motor. Moreover, Aspire's 1.5-liter TiVCT with 6-Speed dual-clutch Powershift automatic availability in the Figo is highly doubtful.
