Adding more spices to the Indian luxury car segment, Nissan is also heard to be working on its luxury car brand, Infiniti, to get an official launch in the Indian auto market soon.
For now no statements have been made by the company’s officials for the launch of Lexus LS in Indian auto market. Looking at the scenario if Nissan plans to bring its luxury car brand Infiniti to the Indian shores than the launch of Lexus in the domestic auto market will be a wise decision from Toyota Motors. The Indian luxury car segment is growing at a rapid rate and luxury car makers all round the globe are turning towards it to have a big share of pie.
Lexus LS 460 if makes a debut in India, it is expected to come loaded with a 1UR-FSE 4.6L engine which will be capable of smoking out a peak power of 385 ps @ 6400 rpm. On the other hand the engine will give out a beating torque of 51.0 kgm. These are the figures which can make the car a real success in Indian luxury car segment. This car is speculated to give a good fuel efficiency of 11.8 km/L.
