Under this Amaze-ing Exchange offer, one can simply exchange his old car with the brand new Honda Amaze and thereby save a great deal of money. The carmaker calculates the EMIs of different car models and compares with the monthly instalment of Amaze. For instance, if one needs to exchange Maruti Suzuki Swift VXI with Honda Amaze, he can save upto Rs 1784 as the EMI on Swift is Rs 8684 while on Amaze its just Rs 6900. Similarly, the EMI of Hyundai i10 Magna (Kappa) is Rs 7193, while the EMI of Amaze will then be Rs 6800, more saving of Rs 393.

The EMI of Amaze is in accordance with other car models and thus when existing car changes, EMI of Honda Amaze too changes. In case if one shifts from Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire VDI model to Honda Amaze, he just needs to pay Rs 2999 as EMI for 5 years and he saves a total of Rs 8827. While if the existing vehicle is from the small car segment such as Alto LXI, person has to pay an extra of Rs 2348 to drive back home in Amaze. Automaker is also giving a cash benefit of Rs 20,000, in-accordance with the reduced excise duty. The Ex-showroom, Jaipur price of Honda Amaze is also deduced from Rs 5.40 lakh to Rs 5.20 lakh.

Powering the compact sedan is the powerful 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that churns a maximum power output of 98.6bhp and peak torque of 200Nm. The engine is mated to five-speed manual transmission. Amaze is also made available with the 1.2-litre petrol engine which musters max power of 86.8bhp and max torque of 109Nm. The car in gasoline model comes with an option of both five speed manual and five speed automatic transmission.

Moreover, the Japanese manufacturer recently launched the first Anniversary Edition of its successful compact sedan Amaze. The company sold more than 80,000 units of Amaze in the first year of its launch. With the launch of next generation Honda City, automaker witnessed a growth of 30 per cent in the domestic sales for the month of April. The car maker sold a total of 11,040 units in April, 2014 as compared 8,488 units in the April, 2013.
