Ford Ecosport Covers Lifted at 2012 Beijing Motor Show ;More Details Emerge on Interweb
Ford Ecosport concept was showcased at the New Delhi Auto Expo held this January, and the production version covers were lifted at the ongoing Beijing Motor Show. The sweeping concept was not notched down to make it production ready so what you get is a smart, stylish offroader. Ford Ecosport SUV is equipped with the new 1L 3-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost petrol engine that generates 120 PS max power with 170 Nm torque. This engine has as much power as the 1.6L engine with the fuel efficiency of a much smaller one. The fuel efficiency of the car is as good as 20 kmpl so the drive range is increased with the fuel consumption going as much as 20% less than the traditional 1.6L petrol engine. The CO2 emissions number is also on the lesser side.
