Independence Day has concluded and like every year for us auto journalists, it was Mahindra who made headlines with not one or two, but four concept unveils. In addition to that, we also witnessed multiple special editions being launched to capitalize on the upcoming festive season sales. Tesla also opened its second outlet in India, while a hatchback got some much needed feature updates.
Mahindra Unveils Four Concepts And A New Platform
Mahindra made plenty of noise by unveiling four concepts on August 15, namely Vision S, Vision T, Vision X and Vision SXT. Along with these concepts, the SUV maker has taken the wraps off its new platform, which supports multiple body styles and powertrain options. Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition Launched
If you’re someone who grew up reading and watching Batman, then this one is for you. Mahindra, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, has revealed the BE 6 Batman Black Edition, where it gets plenty of Batman-specific touches to satisfy the fan boy in you. Skoda Slavia, Kylaq And Kushaq Get A Limited Edition
2025 marks Skoda India’s 25th anniversary in the Indian market, and to commemorate this moment, the Czech carmaker has introduced a limited edition for the Slavia, Kushaq and Slavia. Maruti Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition Unveiled
Maruti has joined the trend of other carmakers by offering a matte colour in the Grand Vitara. However, unlike other models, this edition gets a matte wrap to give it a dapper look.
