Volvo Soon to Launch the C90 luxury Coupe

It has been reported that Volvo is soon going to launch the all new Volvo C90 Coupe in the global market. The new Volvo C90 has been said to be competing with the big giants of the global market in the segment of luxury coupe cars like Audi A5, BMW 4 Series and Mercedes E Class. The main competitor of Volvo C90 in this particular segment is the Mercedes E-Class coupe, which is stylish in looks and has world class features added in the car.

Volvo C90 Coupe

Though the details about the new Volvo C90 Coupe are very limited but it has been reported that the car has been built on the Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA) and there are speculations in the market that the car will have similar features like those of the Volvo S60 variant. The Volvo C90 has an engine which has been built by the company itself. The engine is four- cylinder VEA (Volvo Environmental Architecture) with a hybrid powertrain as its plug-in. The car has yet not been approved for further manufacturing and production by the company but the speculations are that the Volvo will be launching a convertible variant soon. The launch of the new Volvo C90 is very logical as the current C70 is about to go out of production in the year 2013. The Volvo is known in India for its luxury bus segment.
