Upcoming Cars Of Toyota - Have A Look!

Toyota, world’s largest automobile manufacturer has lined-up its latest and greatest offerings that are set to make their entrance into the Indian automotive scene. The automaker has experienced immense success in the market with offerings such as Corolla, Innova and its luxury sedan Camry and its impending launches has got all the automotive enthusiast as excited as they possibly can be. So, we have compiled a list of Toyota’s upcoming cars, check them out!

Toyota Innova

Kicking off our list and this may come as no surprise to our followers is the all new Toyota Innova. According to the recently leaked intel, the car will feature a new 2.4-liter diesel engine, which will be capable of producing segment best 149PS @3400rpm and 343 Nm of torque @1200-2800 rpm. The power-plants will come coupled to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The car is expected to be launched at the Indian Auto Expo in February 2016. Innova will probably be priced in the range of Rs.12.5 lacs to 18 lacs.

Toyota Vios

Next up will be Toyota’s C-segment sedan entry, Vios. The car might enter the Indian car market in February 2016 at the Delhi Auto Expo. Vios will rival the likes of Ciaz , City and Verna and might incorporate the 1.5 petrol engine from Etios or the 1.4 litre D-4D diesel from Corolla Altis. The car is also expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 7.5 to 10 lacs.

Toyota Rush

Following Toyota’s C-segment entry is its  compact SUV offering, the all new Toyota Rush. The car will use same power-plants that we find in the Corolla Altis and Etios sedan for the Indian market i.e. the 1.4-litre D4-D diesel engine and the 1.4-litre petrol engine. The speculative price bracket of this car will fall in the range of Rs. 8-12 lacs.

Toyota Hiace

Another first for the Japanese automaker will be its new luxurious commuter vehicle, Hiace. The bus comes with a seating capacity of 10 passengers (including driver seat) in 4 row configuration. All seats feature recline option and the bus comes with rear A/C vents, 6 Speaker audio system with USB connectivity. In terms of safety, the bus features dual front SRS airbags, ABS, rear parking camera, rear window defogger and Illuminated Entry System. As far as power-plant options are concerned, Hiace will probably feature a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which will be capable of delivering 134.1bhp and 300Nm of torque. Hiace is expected to be priced in the range Rs. 40 lacs to 45 lacs of and will probably be launched in January 2016.

Toyota Fortuner

And last but definitely not the least is the next installment of Toyota’s segment dominator, the Toyota Fortuner premium SUV. The car will feature a four cylinder direct-injected turbo-diesel engine, capable of delivering 174.3bhp and 450Nm of peak torque. The engine options will come mated to a 6-Speed manual transmission with an option of a 6-speed automatic. The car is expected to be launched by the end of 2016 and will probably be priced at Rs. 24 lacs to 29 lacs.
