Tata Motors to launch Tata Sumo Gold amid festive season

Tata Motors is working hard towards luring its consumers and boosting up the sales to a large extend. Tata Motors now aims to revamp the sales of its much prominent brand, Sumo. Currently, Tata Sumo has been completely gone and the place is taken by Mahindra Bolero. Therefore, Tata Motors is planning to revive its Tata Sumo by giving it a new name along with some major upgrades in the engine and the exteriors. The refurbished Tata Sumo will be known as Tata Sumo Gold.

Couple of weeks ago, Tata Motors literally dropped “Sumo” from Tata Grande and highlighted DICOR suffix. By this bold move, Tata Motors is hoping that Tata Safari’s image will be revived by seeing Tata Grande. The difference between Tata Grande and Tata Safari is that, Tata Grande doesn’t come with safety features and the safety kit is present in Tata Safari. With new Tata Sumo Gold, Tata Motors will completely replace “Victa” brand by “Gold” brand. The new Tata Sumo Gold will come powered with 3 litre of CR4 engine and will also have some make over done to its interiors as well as interiors to cajole its consumers back. It is expected that the brand new Tata Sumo Gold will hit the Indian roads by this festive season.
