    Tata Motors sells 4 Lakh sedans

    Time for celebration for Tata Motors! Tata Motors India has just touched the mark of selling four lakh sedan car in the country. The first sedan car,Tata Indigo launched by Tata Motors in India was in early 2000’s. And since then there is no looking back for Tata in terms of cars in India. From the year of 2000, numerous kinds of sedan cars came in the market, but Tata made sure that its sedan made impressive sales, which could give them a reason to celebrate.

    However, as far as the Tata’s Indigo sedan car is concerned, it surely deserved all the success it got. There were many models of Indigo which were introduced by Tata, which included Tata Indigo with intercooler and turbocharger, Indigo CS with the TDI engine, Indigo DICOR with CRDI engine, Indigo XL with the DICOR engine and Indigo CS with the DICOR engine. Here, Indigo XL with the DICOR engine had a very responsible petrol engine, which churned out the power of 100 bhp.

    In the year of 2009, Tata Motors expanded its Indigo range by adding on Tata Manza that comes in both diesel engine and petrol engine. Tata Indigo Manza supported Tata in accelerating the car sales by 5 lakh units since the launch.
