Inside, the Tata Harrier EV’s cabin is largely similar to its ICE counterpart again. However, it stands apart with a grey and white cabin theme like the one found in the Tata Nexon EV and Tata Curvv EV. Elements like dual digital displays and the four-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated Tata logo give it a modern look.

    Features & Safety

The Tata Harrier EV will carry over all the equipment from the ICE-powered Harrier, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, powered and ventilated front seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, connected car technology, and a 10-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer.

It also has an exclusive feature called ‘Summon Mode’ by Tata, which is essentially a remote-controlled parking function that allows the vehicle to move forward or backwards using the keyfob. Additionally, it will also include EV-specific features like vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle charging (V2C).

Safety is addressed with 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. The Harrier EV will also get a level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite.

    Powertrain

The exact battery pack details and specifications of the Tata Harrier EV haven’t been revealed yet. However, Tata has confirmed that it will feature an all-wheel drive option and a claimed range of over 500 km.

The Harrier EV will be based on Tata’s dedicated ‘Acti.ev’ platform. It will also feature a multi-link rear suspension, which should enhance both ride comfort and handling.
