Sail hatch coming in June-July,to be priced above Beat
General Motors India is surely working on expanding its portfolio in the country and to grab a huge chunk of market share in the Indian car market. To do so, the company is planning to bring in Chevrolet Sail hatchback to the Indian car bazaar. This hatchback car was showcased by General Motors India at the 11th Auto Expo in New Delhi. Sail hatchback has been made under the collaboration with Chinese firm SAIC. The car is sporty, smart and extremely spacious. Apparently, the firm will bring in this hatchback in the country by the month of June or July 2012.

The petrol variant will feature 1.2 litre of S-TEC engine, whereas the diesel variant of Chevrolet Sail hatchback could come with 1.3 litre Multi-jet engine, which was developed in collaboration with Fiat long ago. Apart from impressive engine options, the safety features of Chevrolet Sail hatchback are remarkable and the interiors are modish, chic and loaded with advanced technology. As far as the price of this hatchback is concerned, the General Motors India has kept it under the wraps, but speculations suggest that it would be priced and positioned above Chevrolet Beat car.
