    Renault Fluence diesel to adorn new features, launch slated in Nov

    Renault is definitely not tired of being in news these days. The French auto maker has launched its high-end SUV Renault Koleos earlier this month and now the company is going to relaunch the Renault Fluence diesel sedan with upmarket features like twin-zone air conditioning, cruise control, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and even beige interiors. The new sedan will be made available this November.

    The petrol Fluence E4 trim is available at Rs 14.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Since the new diesel variant will copy almost all of its upgraded features, its cost will go up. The speculated price of new Renault Fluence E4 diesel is Rs 15.20 lakh and the sedan is expected to generate handsome revenue figures with the modifications.

    Diesel cars are gaining a lot of popularity due to continuous hikes in petrol price. This has pinched Renault India to upgrade the diesel variant of its premium sedan car. The new features were already adorned in the Renault Fluence E4 petrol variant but were missing from the Renault Fluence E2 diesel variant. Moreover, with gloomy black interiors, manual air conditioning and manual transmission, Renault Fluence diesel was inefficient to lure customers. Renault Fluence was never able to attract sales since it got launched in May this year. With the restyling scheme, Renault Fluence is likely to pick-up sales as the car will arrive in market before the wedding season in India.
