Despite being wrapped in a heavy camouflage, the spied model shows a few design features including the LED headlight and rugged-looking roof rack
Mahindra debuted its BE (Born Electric) series with the Mahindra BE 6 in 2024. Notably, in 2023, Mahindra had shown the BE Rall-e concept, which is essentially a more off-road focused version of the BE 6 with a crossover design. Now, a test mule of the production-spec model has been spied testing, hinting at a launch down the road. Although the spied model is covered in heavy camouflage, few design elements are visible. Here are the details:
What Can Be Spotted?
The spotted rally version has a lot of similarities with the currently available Mahindra BE 6 model and the Rall-e concept. Although it is draped in a white and blue camouflage, an air scoop on the bonnet is clearly visible, which is similar to one on the BE 6.
What’s different though is the circular headlight housing with projector LED elements that is similar to the Rall-e concept. A closer look at the fascia also reveals front parking sensors, but the test mule misses out on the front fog lamps, which might be offered with the production-spec model.
Other than this, a rugged-looking black roof rack can also be spotted, which has a similar design to one on the concept model.
While the interior design is not visible in its entirety, a 2-spoke steering wheel similar to the Mahindra BE 6 can be seen. We also expect it to be futuristic looking as is the case with both the XEV 9e and BE 6.
Other Details About The Mahindra BE Rall-e
On the design front, the production-spec Mahindra BE Rall-e can have a rugged black cladding running across the length of the e-SUV. However, unlike the BE 6 that gets a glossy finish, the BE Rall-e can have a matte touch on it. The LED DRLs are also expected to be sleeker, something similar to the lower-spec variants of the BE 6.
To enhance its ruggedness, Mahindra showcased the concept with chunky all-terrain tyres and it will be interesting to see whether this is carried on to the production-spec model. The concept also featured a roof-rack mounted spare wheel, which also remains to be seen if it makes it to production or not.
The rear design is also expected to be sporty with a coupe-like sloping roofline, sleek connected LED tail lights and a rugged rear bumper.
The interior design is yet to be revealed, but it could be as sporty as the one in the Mahindra BE 6.

Expected Launch Date And Prices
While the launch date of the production-spec Mahindra BE Rall-e is yet to be revealed, it might command a slight premium over the currently available Mahindra BE 6, prices of which range between Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).
