Nissan has already burned its hands with the X-Trail as most of the SUV buyers prefer to have seven seats in their car. So, Nissan is working on getting its version of the compact SUV to have seven seats as a factory fitment, rather than a dealer fitment.

Nissan’s version of the Duster will be expensive than Renault’s as this a part of their deal. So, Nissan could introduce various new add-ons to cover up for the extra moolah that you shall pay for the SUV. The current Renault-Nissan plant in Chennai has a capacity of producing 50,000 units annually and it will also export the SUV to other markets like the United Kingdom.
