    Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG arriving this month in India

    Following the launch of GL63 AMG and ML63 AMG, Mercedes-Benz is again ready to introduce another AMG machine in the country. If reports are to be believed, the German carmaker will be launching the CLA 45 AMG by the end of this month.

    The CLA 45 AMG comes equipped with a 2.0-litre, twin turbo 4-pot engine that churns out 360PS of maximum power and 450 Nm of peak torque. The unit comes paired with a 7G-DCT automatic transmission, transferring the force to all- four-wheels. With these power specs., the car sprints 0-100 kmph in just 4.6 seconds and keeps accelerating until it reaches its electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. The CLA45 AMG wears the 18-inch alloys shod with 235/40R18 rubber.

    Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG offers three driving modes, M- Momentary Mode, S - Sport Mode, and C – Controlled Efficiency mode. On equipment level, the car offers an array of features including Airbags, ABS, ESP, climate control seats, rear park assist, touch screen, surround sound speakers, steering mounted controls and shift pedals.Unlike the regular CLA, the AMG version gets more aerodynamic bumpers with carbon fiber body work, carbon fiber-trimmed interior, AMG sports steering wheel and gear lever.

    After its arrival, The CLA45 will not only take on the likes of the Audi S4, will also also go up against the likes of the luxury saloons and SUVs in the same price bracket. With no official words on the pricing, we expect it to be priced around INR 60-70 Lakh. Though, dealers have started taking the bookings for the new offering with a booking amount of INR 1 lakh. While, the deliveries are expected to commence in the next month.
