Maruti Ritz to hit Indian roads on May 15
Market leader Maruti Suzuki India's (MSI) Ritz to hit Indian roads on May 15. This will be the eight new model of the company. The company claimed in a statement that Ritz would be the country's first Bharat Stage IV emission norms compliant car in both petrol and diesel variants. Likewise, the car will be available with two different engine options- K-series 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 litre diesel engine. The car will be positioned in the premium A2 segment.

The company has the largest market share of 58 per cent in the A2 segment. The company's ambitious car Ritz is expected to consolidate its leadership in the highly competitive compact car segment. This will be the eight car from company after successful launching of Swift, Zen Estilo, SX4, Swift Diesel, Grand Vitara, Swift DZiRE and A-star.
