Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Might Get This Interior Design

The recently launched Mahindra XUV300 sub-compact SUV is based on the SsangYong Tivoli, which is sold in various international markets. Now, we have our first look at the Tivoli facelift that gets new features and cosmetic updates that are likely to make their way to the facelift of the XUV300 at some point in time, possibly in 2021 or in its electric version, which will be launched in 2020.
While the Tivoli (pre-facelift) and XUV300 have a lot of differences, particularly in the way their rear end is designed, they also share a lot of cosmetics inside the cabin, like the dashboard design. Despite getting a lot of segment-first features, the Mahindra XUV300 doesn’t look as modern on the inside as some of its competitors.
Meanwhile, the Tivoli facelift has been teased in Korea with a new dash complete with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 9-inch display for the central infotainment system. Other visible changes to the dash include different positioning of the AC vents, which are now moved above the infotainment screen, and a completely redesigned console for the dual zone climate control.
Since the Mahindra XUV300 was launched only recently (February 2019), a facelift is unlikely to be introduced soon. Before the new interior theme makes its way into the XUV300, we expect its electric version to feature it.
The sub-4m SUV is, however, expected to get an automatic transmission option as the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines are only sold with a 6-speed manual gearbox currently. The XUV300 is priced between Rs 7.9 lakh to Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and competes against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and the new Hyundai Venue.
