Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: All Details Explained Using 12 Real-life Images

The Mahindra BE 6 has just got a new limited-run special edition, called ‘Batman’ edition, priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom). As its name suggests, this all-black edition of the BE 6 gets plenty of bespoke Batman touches for a bespoke look. It not only gets exterior and interior tweaks, but also sports gold accents that contrast beautifully. This edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant and is limited to just 300 units.

If you’re interested in bringing one home, Mahindra will be opening order books on August 23. Deliveries of the BE 6 Batman Edition are set to commence on September 20, which is International Batman Day. Let’s see how this special edition BE 6 looks in 12 real-life images.

Front

The Mahindra BE 6 Batman edition boasts a Satin Black exterior shade that gives it a proper stealthy look. Apart from the colour, this special edition electric SUV looks the same as its regular counterpart from the front. Other details like the illuminated ‘BE’ logo on the hood, C-shaped LED DRLs, LED projector headlights, and cornering fog lamps also remain unchanged.

Side

In profile, the BE Batman Edition sits on 20-inch aerodynamically styled alloy wheels, while the wheel caps also sport the Batman logo. The brake callipers and suspension springs come finished in a golden shade, giving it a nice contrast.

There’s also a golden ‘Batman’ insignia on the fender, while both front doors have ‘Batman’ decals. 

The BE 6 has a coupe-style roofline and chunky gloss black wheel arches. It also has flush-type door handles for front doors, while the rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar.

Rear

At the rear, the BE Batman Edition features C-shaped LED tail lights, while Mahindra’s infinity logo is blacked out. A ‘Batman’ logo sits on the lower-right corner of the tailgate, next to the BE 6 logo, with both finished in gold.

Interior

Inside the cabin, the BE 6 Batman Edition gets a new black-and-gold interior theme paired with black semi-leatherette seat upholstery. Gold accents can be seen on the centre console surrounding the drive mode selector knob, on the key fob, along with a Batman Edition insignia near the start/stop button. 

You will also find several ‘Batman’ logos inside, on the dashboard near the AC vents, on the seats, and even on the fixed panoramic roof glass. The SUV retains its jet-cockpit-inspired dashboard layout, a 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated ‘BE’ logo, and a propeller-like gear shifter. Keen eyed viewers will also notice that the Boost mode logo has been replaced with a Batman logo on the steering wheel. 

No additional features have been added to the BE 6 with the introduction of this  edition. Since it’s based on the top-spec Pack Three trim, it comes with amenities like dual 12.3-inch screens (one for the infotainment and the other for the driver’s display),wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, fixed panoramic glass roof, dual-zone AC with rear vents, powered driver’s seat, dual wireless phone chargers, and a selfie camera. 

Passenger safety is taken care of by 7 airbags,  all-wheel disc brakes, a 360-degree camera, park assist, electronic stability control (ESC) and full suite of level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). 

Performance

The BE 6 is being offered with two battery pack options:

MIDC - Modified India Drive Cycle

Since the BE 6 Batman edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant, it only comes with the 79 kWh battery pack option.
