Hyundai Verna Fluidic outshines Vento in sedan car segment
The current mid-sized sedan section in the Indian Auto market is flooding some awesome sedan cars. Latest ones that emerged as leaders of the market was Hyundai Verna Fluidic followed by Volkswagen Vento. According to the current figures of the market, Volkswagen Vento managed to grab the top spot in March 2011 by selling more than 1200 cars, which was far more than Honda City.

As per the director of Volkswagen Passenger car, Volkswagen India, Mr. Neeraj Garg, it is expected that the midsized sedan sector of the Indian Auto Market will continue to grow in the next few months, and the major reason of the growth will be launch of new products.

On the other hand, Hyundai Verna Fluidic became the best selling sedan car in the time frame of May to June 2011. This sedan is loaded with some striking features at a very lucrative price. Hyundai managed to sell 38,174 units in May to June 2011, which is pretty more than what it sold in 2010. With total sales of a whopping 10,313 units in this quarter made Hyundai Verna Fluidic the best selling midsized sedan in the country. According to the director of marketing and sales of Hyundai India, Mr. Arvind Saxena, the brand new Hyundai Verna Fluidic targets the domestic market only and since the time of launch, it has received around 24,000 bookings, which is surely very impressive.

Whereas, on the other hand, Volkswagen Vento became the 2nd bests selling midsized sedan in the Indian Auto Market in this quarter. Volkswagen managed to sell around 7,726 units in April to June 2011. However, the sales figures of Volkswagen Vento in June (2,457 units) were much higher than that of May (2,403 units). The major highlights of Volkswagen Vento are its performance and powerful engine. Apart from this, Volkswagen is available to the consumers at a low interest scheme of 6.99% only. Furthermore, the price of Volkswagen Vento was also reduced to Rs. 44000 to Rs.66000.However, Honda City also managed to improve its sales in June. About 2,802 Honda City’s were sold this May, which is more than last year’s sales in May.
