The Hyundai Creta N Line has finally gone on sale in India. It is a sportier version of the facelifted Creta SUV, and is being offered in two broad variants: N8 and N10. Here’s a look at its variant-wise prices:

Variant

Price (introductory ex-showroom pan-India)

N8 MT

Rs 16.82 lakh

N8 DCT

Rs 18.32 lakh

N10 MT

Rs 19.34 lakh

N10 DCT

Rs 20.30 lakh

*DCT- dual-clutch automatic transmission

Hyundai has priced the Creta N Line’s top-spec N10 DCT at a premium of Rs 30,000 over the regular Creta’s SX(O) variant. It is important to note that since these prices are introductory, the price premium between the regular and N Line variants of the Hyundai SUV will change later.

What’s Under The Bonnet?

The Creta N Line gets the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (160 PS/ 253 Nm) as offered on the top variant of the standard Creta. However, this sportier N Line SUV comes with both 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission) options, while the latter gets the 7-speed DCT unit only. It offers a claimed range of 18 kmpl with the manual transmission and 18.2 kmpl with the DCT automatic gearbox.

Being a car from Hyundai’s ‘N Line’ division, the sportier Creta also has a different suspension setup, a quicker steering rack system for improved handling, and a dual-tip exhaust.
