Honda Brio to launch in Thailand
Earlier we got the news from speculation world for Honda Brio to make its debut in Indian auto market on 17th of March 2011 but proving all the expectations wrong, the Japanese manufacturer has declared the unveiling of its smart hatchback in Thailand with the date remaining same. Honda Brio is the company’s production ready model which will now make its first appearance in Thailand instead of earlier expected destination as India.

The Japanese auto major will endorse its new car through two local film stars during the ceremony which is organized at Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon, Thailand.

Now the speculations say that Honda Brio will debut in Indian auto car market prior or during the festive season. The sizzling model will come loaded with a 1.2-liter petrol engine which is also available in the earlier model of the company, Honda Jazz. And after the launch of this car the company is also expected to come up with a model variant which will be loaded with a 900cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine lacking VTEC.

The soon to launch Honda Brio will give a direct competition to the likes of Chevrolet Beat, Nissan Micra, Tata Indica Vista, Toyota Etios Liva and Suzuki Swift. If the company wants the upcoming Honda Brio to succeed in Indian auto market, then the company has to follow smart pricing strategy which s most important in a country of price conscious customers. Honda Brio is targeting a market segment which is well established and has some prominent players. Thus Honda has to work on the selling features of the car which will help it to attract customer’s attention. The compact car is expected to make its appearance in Indian auto market and bring a bigger and better variety to its hatchback segment.
