Fabia Cutting Down on Pricing.
This festive season will witness a clash in the small car segment market in India. A price war is expected in between the compact cars. Hyundai's new model i-10 was launched with a minimal price hike, Tuesday Skoda have cut down in the price of Fabia on petrol variant by Rs 67,000 and on diesel by 1.1 lakh. Hyundai also reduced the price of i20 by Rs. 40,000.
Skoda Auto India Director (salesmarketing) Thomas Kuehl said that in order to increase the market stake of Skoda in the small car segment in India where the maximum potential lies,they have gone for the new pricing for Fabia compelling proposition and will be a swell for the competitors. Volkwagen Group, Euorpe's top carmaker told that the new pricing will create a ripple in the market and will surely benefit the sales for Fabia.
The entry level Skoda Fabia will now be available to its buyers for INR 4.35 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) whereas the diesel version will now be offered for INR 5.4 lakh as against the older price of INR 6.5 lakh.
The price slash came into effect after realising that the Fabia earlier introduced in the market in 2008 was overly priced when compared to other cars like Maurti Swift and Hyundai i20.

As i know that SKODA after sales service is not available allover state of A.P, Because service centers are rare and available in main city only.If it is corrected then SKODA is a best small car choice.
