BMW Z4, a sporty and chic model from BMW's portfolio, is to be loaded with a 4 Cylinder Turbo charged engine by this year. This super luxury car will be first car in US market which will get new 2.0 liter turbo charged four cylinder heart. And engine of the car will be installed with BMW's latest technology that ensure to make it fuel efficient and well performer in the segment.

The new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine of the BMW Z4 will be loaded with Valvetronic variable valve timing, Vanos throttle-less intake, direct gasoline injection and a twin-scroll turbocharger which will ensure to produce a stout 240 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This four-cylinder heart of the car enables it to produce 15 fewer peak horsepower than the six cylinder powerplant.

Along with great power this new four-cylinder mill of the BMW Z4 is smaller, lighter and more compact than the six cylinder which is also light weight. The BMW claimed that the four-cylinder will be more fuel efficient by 20 percent than old six cylinder. Here an eight-speed automatic transmission gearbox will have been fitted. It is expected that new engine will deliver average mileage of 22 mpg city and 34 mpg highway.

The new turbo technology combined with increasing emission restriction four cylinder 2.0 liter engine loaded 2011 BMW Z4 will deliver top power of 240 hp and a torque of 260pf at 1,250 rpm. Along with this high power and torque, the car will be smooth for driving. As per speculation the price for new car will be fall between dollar 45,000 to dollar 50,000.
