BMW X1 to be Launched in January 2011.

For all the BMW X1 admirers the launch of the SUV has been pushed till January 2011. Earlier to be launched in December 2010, the parts of BMW X1 will be imported and assembled in the Chennai plant in India. The BMW X1 is new luxury compact car as well as a sporty wheeler. The SUV is sure to get a good response from the automobile market in India. The Price tag would be cheaper as compared to the others in the league. Being a compact car and a SUV, BMW X1 is sure to give competition and will carry the same inheritance of BMW SUV's.

The all new BMW X1 is sure to make its rivals Mitsubushi, Toyota and Audi green with envy. Especially for the Indian market, BMW X1 is introducing rear wheel driven models, which means at the rear both the engines and drive wheels are placed. He also mentioned that, BMW X1 has initiated a new luxury car segment in compact SUV class which is a definitive example of company's sophisticated technology and engineers excellence. He added, the new compact SUV gives a new meaning to driving pleasure and spontaneous lifestyle. The BMW X1 will be another chapter in the success story of BMW India.

The suave SUV will have a top speed of 200km/h powered with 1995cc, 2.0L diesel engine. The car will be assembled in the Chennai plant which will surely reduce the pricing. The wait for the sophisticated, elegant, compact BMW X1 will be over in January 2011. The BMW X model is sure to mark a new wave in the market. I love the car , the price is good and after all its german engineering, im sure this will do excellent in the indian market.

I think this suv is excellently priced, if it is decent enough with features as well, it will sell like anything.
