BMW X1 launched, priced at 22 lakh
Finally the most anticipated model from the German manufacturer, BMW X1 has made the official launch in the Indian Auto market. The affordable SUV from BMW has been launched in three exciting variants- BMW X1 Corporate Edition, BMW X1 Highline and BMW X1 Cool Elegance. Indian car enthusiast have been waiting for this launch since long as BMW X1 was claimed to be the lowest priced SUV from the German manufacturers which was the major reason behind its popularity among users.

The car is priced very competitively in market and with this, BMW has big expectations from the launch. The affordable luxury will come your way at a price tag of Rs 22 lakh for base BMW X1 sDrive 18i (2.0L petrol engine), Rs 23.9 Lakh for BMW X1 sDrive 20D (Diesel Engine) and Rs 29.90 lakh for BMW X1 sDrive 20D Xclusive (Diesel Engine)

The potential buyers have been looking forward for the pre order initiation of this luxury car. And now fulfilling the high expectations, BMW X1 has got its official launch in the Indian Auto market. The powerful SUV is loaded with 18i, 1995cc petrol engine which can churn out a maximum power of 150 bhp and beating torque of 200Nm. The engine is built to take the car from 0 to 100 kmph in just 10.4 seconds. The diesel variants are loaded with engine transmission of 1995cc which is built to give a maximum power of 177bhp and 350 Nm of torque. The diesel variant will take the car from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds. The company has has launched the exciting model in a rear-wheel-drive so as to keep the pricing of this SUV in competition with its major competitors in market.

The BMW X1 Corporate Edition same as the BMW 3-series Corporate Editions, will be lagging some features as compared to that of BMW X1 Highline and high end variant BMW X1 Cool Elegance. The specific features available in the corporate edition includes, a sunroof, i-drive interface, and 6-CD changer, but this variant will be having only one CD player. Coming to the Corporate Edition of BMW X1, it will be loaded with simple black trim and fabric seats instead of wood garnishing.

The model is designed in an ultra modern way and the looks screams power and style. The smart beauty from BMW looks giant form long distance but the closer look gives a compact effect. BMW X1 will enter Indian grounds in CKD form and will be processed at the Chennai plant where the BMW 3 series is manufactured.
