    BMW, the official car of Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2012

    BMW was the official car of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2012 scheduled on Sunday, 15 January 2012. Dr. Andreas Schaaf, President, BMW Group India said, “Perfectly combining sporty performance with the highly efficient use of energy, every BMW incorporates the great spirit of the marathon. BMW India is proud to be associated with the spectacular event to celebrate the unstoppable and indomitable spirit of Mumbai. ”

    The BMW X6 was the lead car for the ‘Full Marathon’ which commenced from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 0540 hrs. The BMW X1 was he lead car for the ‘Half Marathon’ which flagged off from Bandra Reclamation at 0615 hrs. The BMW 6 Series Convertible was the lead car for ‘Dream-Run’ on 15 January 2012 which started from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 0900 hrs.

    BMW Group India cheered the runners of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2012 scheduled on Sunday, 15 January 2012 from three exclusive cheering zones at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Marine Drive (Opposite Intercontinental Hotel) and Marine Drive ( Islam Gymkhana).
