    BMW reconsiders 1-Series & Mini launch in India

    BMW India is one of the most prominent luxury car makers in India. The Indian car market was abuzz with the rumors that BMW India will soon launch BMW 1 Series and BMW Mini hatchback in the country. But now, BMW India is reconsidering the decision to launch BMW 1 Series and BMW Mini in India.

    German car maker, Mercedes Benz had made an announcement previously that the firm will launch Mercedes Benz A Class in India by the year 2012, which made people believe that BMW India will also launch a premium hatchback car to fight it out with Mercedes Benz.

    But sadly, BMW is not sure to launch these two cars in India. However, BMW has invited all its Indian dealers to the Frankfurt Motor Show for a test drive of its brand new BMW 1 Series and BMW Mini Cooper. The firm has taken the feedback from the Indian dealers regarding the practicability of launching both BMW Mini Cooper and BMW 1 Series. Although the final decision is yet to be made.

    BMW India however, offers a wide range of cars to its consumers, which includes BMW X1, BMW X5, BMW X3, BMW Z4, BMW X6, BMW 5 Series, BMW 3 series, BMW 6 Series and BMW 7 Series.
