The new BMW M6 comes powered by the same powertain as found on the M5 model. Its performance characteristics are defined with the presence of powerful 4.4-litre V8 Twin-scroll and twin-turbocharging technology that helps produce massive power of 560bhp at 6000-7000rpm and top torque of 680Nm. The drive gets transmitted to rear wheels via a 7-speed M-double clutch gearbox. To add onto the performance of the car, it comes equipped with High Precision Direct Petrol Injection, ValveTRONIC variable valve timing and double-Vanos continously variable camshaft control.

The new M6 Gran coupe sprints to 100kmph from rest in just 4.2 seconds, while it can reach the top-speed of 250kmph (electronically limited). Like the 6 Series Gran Coupe, this will too see the CBU route to arrive in India. In the country, the M6 Gran Coupe will compete against the Audi's highly acclaimed RS7.
