BMW M6 Gran Coupe launched in India at Rs 1 Crore 75 Lacs
The luxury manufacturer BMW today launched its 2014 M6 Gran Coupe at Rs. 1,75,40,000 (ex-showroom). The car is basically a performance enhanced version of BMW 6 series Gran Coupe that now comes with the M badge. The car is up against the likes of Audi RS7, Mercedes CLS and Porsche Panamera.
The exterior holds the signatory kidney grilles along with aerodynamic design that allows flawless air flow to keep air fraction at its minimum. To maintain the kerb weight, a carbon fibre roof is provided. The interiors are aesthetically designed that adds more to its elegance.
In terms of enhancing driving experience, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe comes with different driving modes such as Ecopro, Comfort, Sport and Sport+, which can be controlled with just a flick of a finger. Under the hood of this performance oriented vehicle, the powerful twin turbocharged, 4.4-litre V8 engine does all the duty of churning a power output of 560bhp and torque in figures of 680Nm. The engine is coupled to a 7-speed M-dual clutch transmission with paddle shifters for quick shifts. Talking about the engine performance, the M6 Gran Coupe can achieve 0 to 100 kmph in mere 4.2 seconds.
