    BMW 3-Series Facelift Launched At INR 35.90 lacs

    BMW has launched an updated version of its executive sedan, 3-Series, at a price tag of INR 35.90 lacs (ex-showroom New Delhi). The same car was expected to be launched at the upcoming Indian Auto Expo. The car is launched only with four diesel variants for the time being, but a petrol version is expected soon. The 3-series competes against the like of Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which are already doing better than the 3-Series.

    BMW 3-Series facelift

    BMW has launched an updated version of its executive sedan, 3-Series, at a price tag of INR 35.90 lacs (ex-showroom New Delhi). The same car was expected to be launched at the upcoming Indian Auto Expo. The car is launched only with four diesel variants for the time being, but a petrol version is expected soon. The 3-series competes against the like of Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which are already doing better than the 3-Series.

    Speaking of changes, the car is largely the same, except for the new LED headlamps with LED DRL’s along with fully LED taillamps. It also gets a new set of alloy wheels. On the inside, the 3-Series (gets) get a new heads-up display and a new navigation system with 3D graphics.

    The motor remains the same 2.0-litre twin turbo diesel that produces a healthy 190 bhp of power and 400 Nm of torque which comes as early as 1750 rpms. Mated to an 8-speed ZF gearbox, the 3-Series achieves 0-100 in 7.2 seconds and a top speed of 230 kmph. The petrol variants are expected to come later in 2016.
