The technology is very quick at response, and immediately displays the information on driver information system (DIS) present on central instrument cluster when approached to any traffic light change. If the driver is waiting at a red light, then the system calculates the possible time to reach next green light. It also reduces CO2 emissions by 15 per cent, which also helps in saving fuel. It also stays connected with the car's start-stop function to ensure the engine is turned on five seconds before the green light appears.

Apart from all these functions, the system also alerts the driver to increase the speed to reach next green lights. The system could be found to every Audi model in the range, which depends on government laws.
