    Audi to bag top notch position in high-end car segment

    Audi, German premium car maker which was behind Mercedes and BMW till the year 2009 is now all set to bag top notch position in high-end car segment by the year 2015. The company is giving tough competition to them and aims to beat them to acquire the top spot in the next five years with superior sales than its competitors in the country.

    Audi, German premium car maker which was behind Mercedes and BMW till the year 2009 is now all set to bag top notch position in high-end car segment by the year 2015. The company is giving tough competition to them and aims to beat them to acquire the top spot in the next five years with superior sales than its competitors in the country.

    AUDI AG board member Peter Schwarzenbauer has informed the media that the company has already started working on the plan and results will soon show up. The main focus is on brand building and developing dealerships for effective car market penetration.Keeping that in mind, company will increase the number of its operative dealers to 18 from 12 in India by subsequent year. The company will start assembling of its compact SUV Q5 in India by the mid of this year. Audi sold 1,658 units in 2009 and targets to sale much more around 5,000 units by 2015.
