    Audi India on an expansion spree

    Audi India, the third major luxury car maker in India from Volkswagen group is working day in and day out to enhance its distribution network and enriching its workforce to take the company to unmatchable position in India by 2015. As a part of this strategy company is planning to hire more then 600 new employees for its India operation. The recruitment drives to appoint new workforce has already been commenced at Audi India's plant in Aurangabad.

    Mr. Michael Perschke, Audi India Head is said to have quoted that India is the fastest growing market for Audi cars. This is evident from the fact that there has been a 95% growth during the span of January to August 2011. The company is on right track to fulfill its dream to make Audi India the No.1 luxury car maker by 2015, he further added, said sources.

    The company has strong belief that hiring talented workforce for its three different levels, starting from production and steeping to dealership and corporate will definitely foster money-making growth and will contribute to achieve a leading position in Indian premium car segment. Apart from this, Audi India is also indulged in product expansion as well. The company has recently brought in the new luxury sedan Audi A1 concept and is all set to launch Audi Q3 premium SUV.

    Audi is presently the fastest growing brand in India. The company has recorded sales of 510 units in the month of August as compared to 250 units sold in the same period in last year. Besides this the company is now aiming to sell 5000 units in Indian market during current year. Audi is also interested in increasing its global workforce by 10,000 by the end of this decade. The aspiration of Audi to create a talent pool and that will surely help to attain the global eminence at local level.
