Tata Nano records a whopping 6,401 unit sales in November
2012 Tata Nano launch it seems, has done the trick. While the rest of the car manufacturers are weeping with their low sales figures, Tata Motors is rejoicing over the comeback their Tata Nano has made. A whopping 6,401 unit sales are recorded just in the month of November. Now, doesn’t the credit go to the revamped Tata Nano? The new Tata Nano is a huge makeover from the past model. The exteriors and the interiors makeover apart, the engine has been tweaked to some impressive power and torque output figures.

The 38 Bhp power and the 51 Nm peak torque is a huge improvement. The mileage has improved from 23.6kmpl to 25.4 kmpl. The engine also seems to be more refined without letting out grumbling noise as it used to before. Moreover, the car moves faster than ever. After some pondering, the auto major Tata Motors introduced some attractive offers to improve the sales. A four year warranty or until 60,000 km mark was offered to boost the sales of Tata Nano. The car was given out at zero downpayment at a monthly scheme of insignificant Rs 99 per month to make up for the cost of the car. These offers did a little to improve the sales. However, now the situation seems to be back in control. There are high hopes from the auto major to see the car with the similar success like Tata Indica V2.
