Porsche Boxster GTS & Cayman GTS launched in India at INR 1.15 Crore & INR 1.17 Crore respectively
Porsche India has just launched the GTS (Gran Turismo Sport) versions of its successful Boxster and Cayman supercars. Priced at INR 1.15 Crore and INR 1.17 Crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively, both the models are available for order at dealerships across India from today onwards.

A common 3.4 litre 6-cylinder boxer engine works under the bonnet of both the supercars, though there is a tad difference in the output. While the Boxster GTS has an output of 330 bhp, the Cayman GTS offers slightly more 340 bhp. Also, the torque has increased by 10Nm and Sport Chrono package comes as standard with both.
With the help of a standard Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission and Sport Plus mode, the Boxster GTS sprints from 0-100kmph in 4.7 seconds and goes up to 279kmph, whereas the Cayman GTS is a tenth of a second faster and boasts a top whack of 283kmph.

The Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS feature PASM as standard which offers the driver a choice of sportier or more comfortable settings. Like other Porsche GTS models, both two-seaters come with standard sports seats and leather interiors enhanced with Alcantara elements. While the exterior highlights comes in the form of a distinctive front and modified rear end, blackened bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and taillights are the major highlights.
