Ford Figo Aspire Commercial in the Works, Farhan Akhtar to Lead
After the reveal of Ford's latest offering Figo Aspire at the opening of its new manufacturing facility at Sanand, Ford is working on a TV commercial of the same car. Leading this advertisement will be Bollywood sensation Farhan Akhtar that was seen shooting near some location in Mumbai. This brand new sub-four meter sedan is expected to come near June but as its commercial is in making it might just come before it.
The all-new Figo Aspire will go head to head with Maruti’s Swift Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Zest and Honda Amaze. And to back its success will be the host of features that will be offered with this car.
It will be getting best in class safety features like curtain airbags, in the top end Titanium variant. Moreover, it will be getting Ford’s SYNC and AppLink infotainment system that seamlessly takes voice commands. For the lower trims a unique My-Ford-Dock will be offered in place of the screen that will securely hold your mobile phone and can be used for charging, bluetooth streaming and navigation.
Powering the all new Figo Aspire will be an all new 1.2 litre Ti-VCT and a 1.5 litre TDCI diesel. The petrol, a four-pot motor might produce around 85-90 bhp while the torque could be a little over/under 120Nm. Both these engines will come mated to the duo of the next gen Figo and Figo Aspire.
