Mahindra XUV e8 Car Latest Update
Latest Update: The Mahindra XUV.e8 has been spied testing revealing some new design details.
Launch: The all-electric Mahindra XUV700 is expected to go on sale in India by December 2024.
Price: Mahindra could price it from Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Platform: The Mahindra XUV.e8 is based on the INGLO modular platform.
Battery Pack and Range: The XUV.e8 will be offered with 2 battery pack options: a 60 kWh and 80 kWh, with a WLTP-claimed range of up to 450 km. The unit will be mated to both single and dual motor setups. Its platform will support both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations. The former will have an output of up to 285 PS, while the latter will produce up to 394 PS. It will also be able to support fast charging capabilities of up to 175 kW.
Features: Features on board the XUV.e8 could include a integrated screen setup, connected car tech, multi-zone climate control, cruise control and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety: Passenger safety could be ensured by up to 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), and a suite of ADAS features.
Rivals: The Mahindra XUV.e8 will be a direct rival to the BYD Atto 3, while serving as a premium alternative to the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric.
